Way to save hard disk space

1, Delete backup files: Start → Run → sfc.exe / purgecache.
2,Delete the drive backup file called in the following directory :  windows \ driver cache \ i386 .
3, If you feel that you will no longer need help from the windows system, you can delete the following directory : windows\help.
4, After a system upgrade, you will find some files like “$ NtUninstall” in the windows directory, these are OK to go ahead and delete.
5, Put the virtual memory file “pagefile.sys” in a location other than in the system driver: Control Panel → System → Performance → Advanced → Change virtual memory. Be sure that you have clicked "Set up" for it to take effect.
6, Uninstall any programs you don’t need
7, Turn off System Restore as it takes up a lot of hard disk space. With the right mouse button, click on the desktop icon "My Computer" → "Properties" → "System Restore" → Uncheck the system restore option.
8, Turn off hibernation: Disabaling this function should free four or five megabytes of hard disk space. Right-click the desktop space, select "Properties" → "Display Properties" → select "Screen Saver" page → press the lower right corner of the "Power" button → the "Power Options Properties" window should open→ Select "Hibernate" page → Uncheck the "Enable hibernation".
9. Move system and user temporary folder to a location other than in the system driver.
10. A large number of temporary files will affect the performance of hard disk read and write system files, however, you can change the location of temporary files to avoid this situation. Clicking: Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > General tab > click the "Settings" button in the window that opens > "Move Folder" button to specify a non-system partitionfolder > "OK".
